Wow! I really loved the movie Don't Be a Menace to South Central While Drinking Your Juice in The Hood. The movie is absolutely stunning with top-notch graphics and visuals while Shawn Wayans deliver some award-winning performances in this movie. I also think Marlon Wayans was great! The visuals and graphics make for some very realistic on screen special-effects but that is the beauty of the movie.When the movie wants to be funny it is funny, the same is true for when the movie needs to deliver its scary aspects.
I think Shawn Wayans and Marlon Wayans worked wonderful in Don't Be a Menace to South Central While Drinking Your Juice in The Hood. The great supporting cast includes Shawn Wayans, Marlon Wayans, Tracey Cherelle Jones, Vivian Smallwood, Chris Spencer.
You should see it, make no mistake this is a definite blockbuster!

Don't Be a Menace to South Central While Drinking Your Juice in The Hood wants desperately to be an Airplane-like parody of inner-city African American gangsta movies. Instead, it offers us more turkey than we would find at any Thanksgiving spread. Unfunny, stereotypical, stupid, and crass, it was cowritten by Marlon and Shawn Wayans, both of whom should have known better. The two fare better as actors than writers, as they are almost amusing as hardened, dimwitted homeboys. As Ashtray, Shawn returns to his 'hood and hooks up with his best buddy (Marlon) before the two embark on a series of oh-so-wacky adventures. Siblings Keenen Ivory, Kim, and Craig Wayans also make appearances. If you really want a laugh, watch Booty Call. --Rochelle O'Gorman
